A little thoughtful care helps keep your extensions soft, smooth and beautiful. Handle them gently and follow these simple habits.

What to do

  • Brush gently from the ends upwards, supporting the hair near the attachment.
  • Use a soft-bristle or extension-friendly brush.
  • Wash only when needed with shampoo free of sulphates, protein and keratin.
  • Apply conditioner through the mid-lengths and ends; keep it away from bonds or tapes.
  • Dry the roots and attachment areas thoroughly, and use heat protection before styling.

What not to do or use

  • Do not brush roughly, tug, or sleep with wet extensions.
  • Avoid applying oils, masks or conditioner directly to bonds or tape tabs.
  • Avoid high heat and frequent hot-tool styling.
  • Avoid heavy, oily or high-alcohol products near the attachment points.
  • Do not swim in chlorinated or salt water without protection; rinse promptly afterwards.
  • Avoid oils and sunscreen, as they can stain your hair.
